When you press Activate, webfaze.com answers with a reason. Find the message you see below.
"This licence key is not valid. Check it on webfaze.com → Account → Licences."
webfaze.com doesn't know this key.
- Open webfaze.com Account → Licences, press Show on the key, and copy it with the copy button. Paste it rather than typing it.
- Make sure you're signed in to the webfaze.com account that bought the licence.
- Paste the whole key, including
WFZ-, into Settings → Advanced → Licence and press Activate again.
"That doesn't look like a licence key."
The text pasted isn't in the form WFZ-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Spaces and lower case are fine, but part of the key may be missing.
"This licence was cancelled" or "This licence expired on …"
The licence is no longer active. Check its state in Account → Licences and renew it, then press Check now.
"This licence has been revoked."
A refunded or revoked licence can't be activated. If you think this is a mistake, post in the Fixing problems space (without your key) and the Webfaze team will contact you.
"This site was removed from the licence on webfaze.com."
Someone pressed Remove for this site. Enter the key again and press Activate.
"This copy of Webfaze has no licence signing key built in" or "can't check licences because it has been modified"
This copy isn't an official release. Download Webfaze again from Account → Downloads and replace webfaze.cjs.
