Refund policy

If Webfaze doesn’t work as described, you can ask for your money back within 14 days of your first purchase of a plan.

What you can get refunded

  • First purchase of a plan. A full refund if you ask within 14 days of the payment and Webfaze does not work as described on this website, for example it won’t install or run on hosting that meets the requirements and we can’t fix the problem with you.
  • Renewals. Yearly and monthly licences renew automatically until you cancel. If a renewal was charged after you meant to cancel, ask within 14 days of the renewal payment and we refund it, provided the licence hasn’t been used since the renewal.
  • Paid extensions. Extensions are made and sold by independent developers through Webfaze. A paid extension can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if it doesn’t work as its listing describes and its developer can’t fix it. A refund cancels the developer’s share of that sale.
  • Charged twice or by mistake. Duplicate or mistaken charges are always refunded.

What isn’t refunded

  • Requests after the 14-day window, except duplicate or mistaken charges.
  • Problems caused by hosting that doesn’t meet the requirements (for example PHP-only hosting without Node.js). Please check the install guide before you buy.
  • Hosting, domains or other services you bought from someone else. Webfaze does not include hosting.
  • Licences revoked for breaking the terms.

How to ask for a refund

Sign in and post in the community’s Fixing problems space saying you would like a refund, without posting your order number or licence key. The Webfaze team will contact you at the email address on your account.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, so an approved refund is paid back by Lemon Squeezy to the card or account you paid with. You can also reply to your Lemon Squeezy receipt.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, the money can take a few working days to arrive.

What happens to the licence

When a plan is refunded, its licence key is revoked. Sites using it lock as described on the pricing page: the Console closes except for the Licence screen and a backup download, and the public site goes offline after 7 days. Your content is never deleted, so you can take a backup at any time.

Cancelling a renewal

You can cancel a yearly or monthly plan at any time so that it doesn’t renew: contact us as above, or cancel it yourself in Account, Billing. The licence keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
