Webfaze is a website builder that you download and run on your own hosting. You buy a licence on webfaze.com, install the software, and build your site in the Console at yourdomain.com/admin.
What you need
- Hosting that runs Node.js apps, with Node.js 22.15 or newer (Node.js 24 works too).
- A database, if you want one: MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.2+. Or no database at all: leave the database settings out and Webfaze keeps everything in one SQLite file.
- A domain pointed at your hosting.
- Outbound HTTPS from your server to webfaze.com, about once a month, for the licence check.
- A licence key (it starts with
WFZ-) from webfaze.com, Account → Licences, and the deploy package from Account → Downloads.
What's in the deploy package
webfaze.cjs: the whole application, in one file.app.js: the startup file for hosting panels such as Hostinger and cPanel.package.json, aDockerfileanddocker-compose.yml, a systemd unit, aCaddyfile, an nginx example, and the diagnosticsdoctor.jsanddbtest.js.
There's no SQL file to import: Webfaze creates its own tables the first time it starts.
What you get in the Console
Pages and posts with a drag-and-drop page builder, a blog with categories and comments, forms with an Inbox, a Media library, visitor text in 14 languages, and Extensions from the reviewed webfaze.com directory (including the six official ones: SEO Toolkit, Commerce, Bookings, Newsletter and Popups, Multilingual, and Chat and Social).
Next step: check that your hosting can run it (see "Which hosting can run Webfaze?").
