How you sign in depends on how you installed.

If you set the WEBFAZE_ADMIN_* settings

  1. Open https://yourdomain.com/admin.
  2. Sign in with WEBFAZE_ADMIN_EMAIL and WEBFAZE_ADMIN_PASSWORD.
  3. Delete WEBFAZE_ADMIN_PASSWORD from your hosting panel. Your account already exists, and the password shouldn't stay written there.

If you didn't set them

  1. Open the app's log (Hostinger: the Node.js app's Logs; cPanel: the log file in Setup Node.js App; VPS: journalctl -u webfaze -n 20).
  2. Find the line Open this link to finish setup and copy the link ending in /install?t=….
  3. Open it on your domain within 30 minutes and fill in the setup screens.

The token in that link proves you have access to the server, so nobody else can claim your half-finished install. If the link gives a 404, it has expired or setup is already done: restart the app for a fresh link, or go to /admin if setup is complete.

After you sign in

  • Activate your licence. Until a licence is active, the Console is locked except for the Licence screen, a backup download and Sign out. Paste your WFZ- key and press Activate.
  • Follow the Get started card on the Dashboard: customise the look under Design, add a page, write a post.
  • Turn on two-step sign in under Account.
  • Set up Settings → Email so password resets and form notifications can be sent.
